Internal Audit Data Science Analyst
Our client is a globally recognised banking organisation. They currently have an excellent opportunity to join their market leading Internal Audit Data Analytics (IADA) team.
This role will offer exposure to developing machine learning tools and apps utilisation, as well as using your technical coding skills to provide data science support to individual. The opportunity
- Work alongside colleagues in delivering a portfolio of data analytics assignments in support of the annual audit plan, using Python and SQL.
- Design, develop and deliver data analytics in an internal audit context.
- Identify opportunities for data analytics and then support the development and delivery of those analytics.
- Support Audit colleagues and business management in understanding your findings and agreeing where action needs to be taken.
- Sourcing, cleansing and importing data.
Your profile
- 3+ years’ experience using Python and SQL in an audit or internal audit context and therefore able to bring strong technical skills to the table.
- A good understanding of the audit process, together with a risk and control mindset.
- Inquisitive, able to take initiative and bring fresh ways of looking at data.
- Experience using Power BI, Tableau, ACL or other analytics and visualisation software.
- You will either be working in a Financial Services firm or a major Consultancy with exposure to FS clients.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
