Head of Audit, General Insurance

Our client is an instantly recognisable insurance company. They currently have a great opportunity for a Head of Audit to manage stakeholder relationships at the most senior level, take responsibility for a portfolio of audits covering their GI business and lead a team to oversee their delivery.

The Opportunity

  • Reporting to the Chief Auditor you will lead a team to deliver a broad portfolio of audits across the business.
  • Manage relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the on-going development of the audit methodology.
  • Conduct the risk assessment and updating of the audit universe.
  • Define and deliver the plan for the relevant area.
  • Make a difference to an organisation and a key point in its development and growth.

Your profile

  • Most likely you will be operating at a senior level within the Internal Audit function of a major insurer.
  • You will have significant experience of overseeing the delivery of multiple audits across a range of businesses and or functions.
  • Strong stakeholder and people management skills.
  • Good understanding of the general insurance industry, products, processes and the associated regulatory environment.
  • Looking for a hybrid and flexible working and great work life balance.
