Head of Audit, General Insurance
Our client is an instantly recognisable insurance company. They currently have a great opportunity for a Head of Audit to manage stakeholder relationships at the most senior level, take responsibility for a portfolio of audits covering their GI business and lead a team to oversee their delivery.
The Opportunity
- Reporting to the Chief Auditor you will lead a team to deliver a broad portfolio of audits across the business.
- Manage relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Contribute to the on-going development of the audit methodology.
- Conduct the risk assessment and updating of the audit universe.
- Define and deliver the plan for the relevant area.
- Make a difference to an organisation and a key point in its development and growth.
Your profile
- Most likely you will be operating at a senior level within the Internal Audit function of a major insurer.
- You will have significant experience of overseeing the delivery of multiple audits across a range of businesses and or functions.
- Strong stakeholder and people management skills.
- Good understanding of the general insurance industry, products, processes and the associated regulatory environment.
