Fantastic Senior level Enterprise Risk opportunity to join one of the most exciting and ambitious Banking Institutions in the UK.
The role is a Head of position with oversight of a team responsible for risk reporting and analytics so as to provide a horizontal view of the banks risk profile to the Exec Board.
You will be responsible the design, implementation and monitoring of the Enterprise Risk Reporting and Communication strategy for the Bank.
This will include leading the Banks Risk Frameworks and Culture , for the embedding and management of risks that the Bank faces in achieving its strategy and objectives.
As a Senior position the role will be providing leadership on the delivery of Legal, Regulatory and mandatory change within the Bank.
Skills Required
Retail / Corporate Banking background.
Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills
A strong understanding of Risk-related regulation (e.g. Basel and BCBS 239 Principles for effective risk data aggregation and risk reporting) and Accounting Standards (i.e. IFRS) and its application and impact in the Retail and Corporate banking industry.
An understanding of quantitative and qualitative methodologies used in the management of risk.
Proven experience working in a Risk (i.e. credit risk, market risk) function, primarily in an analyst capacity.
Proven leadership to develop individuals and create high performance teams
