The opportunity:

As an Audit Manager within the Data Analytics Team, you will work alongside colleagues in delivering a portfolio of data analytics assignments in support of the annual audit plan.

You will also work with Analytics Champions across Group Audit to encourage and support the use of analytics.

In this key role, you'll work with other data analytics specialists and other audit team members to identify opportunities for data analytics, and then support the development and delivery of those analytics.

You'll support Group Audit colleagues and business management in understanding your findings and agreeing where action needs to be taken in order to protect the Group.

Your profile:

You'll understand how data analytics can be used to provide business insights,

Proficient in developing and running SQL scripts and using Microsoft Excel.

Knowledge of other tools such as CaseWare IDEA, Tableau, Microsoft Access and R is desirable but not required.

Awareness of the latest trends in data analytics and computer assisted audit techniques (CAATs) is essential, as well as an awareness of emerging risks within Financial Services and in internal audit in general

Stakeholder management is key as you will need to engage and build relationships and successfully influence a wide variety of stakeholders.
