Audit Manager – Actuarial

The company

Our client is one of the UK’s most recognised Insurance brands. They currently have an opportunity for an actuary to join their audit team to provide risk and control oversight across their actuarial activities.

This role would be a fantastic opportunity for an experienced actuary looking to utilise their expert knowledge, utilise their people skills, gaining broad exposure to actuarial activities and operate at a strategic level.

The opportunity

  • Conduct internal audit work on a variety of audit assignments.
  • Complete data analytics with diligence, assessing data quality and following agreed procedures around use and disposal of data.
  • Maintain good working relationships with audit stakeholders.
  • Operate as part of an effective team and contribute proactively to the efficient performance of internal audit through engagement in team administration and development of the function.

Your profile

  • A full or part qualified insurance actuary.
  • Risk management principles and practices including Conduct and Prudential Regulatory Risk.
  • Strong project management, leadership and stakeholder management
  • Intellectual curiosity combined with the drive and enthusiasm to learn new things
