Andy Winterburgh has been recruiting internal audit professionals in financial services for 30 years, and is widely regarded as the leading specialist in this field in the UK. He is the recruiter of choice for many of the most prestigious global financial institutions, placing professionals from newly qualified auditors through to SMF5 Chief Audit Officers.

Andy placed his first Head of Internal Audit in 2000 and has since completed SMF5 appointments across banking, wealth and asset management, insurance, market infrastructure and private equity, including searches for FTSE100 and FTSE250 firms.

Before founding Hybridge, Andy led a multi-disciplinary team of over 100 people, helping build one of the UK's fastest growing businesses, recognised in the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For and served as a member of a global Plc ExCo. That experience gives him a perspective on leadership, culture and organisational dynamics that few recruiters can offer.
